Marianna City Commission recognizes longevity

The Marianna City Commission had some pleasant business to attend to when they met for their monthly meeting. Before they dove into policy, employment, and money matters, they took time to show their appreciation for two employees and the time they’ve given to the City.
Irene Williams has been with the Marianna City Police Department for 25 years. She is now a Senior Communications Officer. Her hire date was June 29, 2000.
Michael Hall returned to Marianna Fire Department June 22, 2020. He had previously been employed with Marianna Fire Department from November 2011 to October 2015. Hall accepted a position with Florida State Fire Marshal’s Office. He returned when he applied and was hired as Marianna’s fire chief.
Mayor Travis Ephriam and the commissioners expressed their thanks to both Williams and Hall for the jobs they do.
