Marianna Police Department Arrests Chipley Man on Habitual Traffic Offender and Drug Charges

The Jackson County Times received the following press release from the Marianna Police Department.
On Saturday, September 13, 2025, at approximately 1:30 a.m., officers conducted a traffic stop near the 4300 block of Lafayette Street. The driver was identified as Shedrick Patton, 48, of Chipley, Florida.
The investigation revealed that Patton has an extensive history of driving with a suspended license as well as narcotics distribution. A search of the vehicle yielded a quantity of MDMA/Methamphetamine in both pill and powder form.
Patton was taken into custody and charged with:
Driving While License Suspended or Revoked (Habitual Traffic Offender)
Possession of Methamphetamine
He was transported to the Jackson County Correctional Facility to await first appearance.
