Rotary welcomes Bill Baker

Bill Baker was recently selected as the 2025 Alabama Veteran of the Year by the Alabama DAV (Disabled American Veterans). Mr. Baker currently serves as vice president of Navigator International, a Service Disabled, Veteran-owned, Small Department of Defense business with offices in Huntsville and Enterprise, Alabama as well as Turkey and Iraq.

Since 2002, he has been executing commercial and government contracts with the states of Alabama, Florida, Virginia, Kentucky, and North Carolina. He has also executed government contracts with the Department of Defense, Department of Veterans Affairs, Department of State, and Department of Education. He received the rank of Sergeant Major in the Army before his retirement in 2002.

As a military leader, he desired the best for his troops and delivered on his mission 100% of the time. As a corporate leader, he expects excellence from his peers and subordinates; and he delivers the same. Bill’s style is collaborative, seeking to create win-win situations in each endeavor. He and his wife, Nell live in Enterprise, Alabama.
