The Marianna High girls and boys cross-country teams qualified for the regional meet.

Marianna K8 made school history with its first appearance at the FLYRA (Florida Youth Running Association) Middle School Championship, finishing 23rd out of 27 teams statewide.

Seven of the top 10 finishers in the Boys 5000 Meter Run Finals came from Jackson County schools, with four of those runners representing Marianna High School.

Poplar Springs claimed the team title in the Girls 5000 Meter Run Finals, edging out Graceville and Chipley with consistent finishes across the board.

The sport of cross country may still be in its early stages at Marianna K-8, but its impact is already being felt.
