Mr. Laymond Martin age 82 of Campbellton, FL passed away Wednesday, November 12, 2025 at his residence, surrounded by his loving family.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, November 22th at St. Paul A. M. E. Church located at 5180 Highway 273, Campbellton, Florida with Prophet Willie Clark officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery with Military Honors and with Mckinnie Funeral Home of Campbellton, FL directing.

A public viewing for family and friends will be held on Friday, November 21st, from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at the Shira, Sr. & Chelcie McKinnie Memorial Chapel.

Laymond Martin (LP) was born on November 6, 1943 to the late Chester Martin and Carrie Pittman Martin.  He was educated at St. Paul High School in Campbellton, Florida.

He served his country faithfully by joining the United States Army.

He was joined in holy matrimony to Theolia Newton Martin on April 13, 1968 and to this union five Children were born.  Laymond was devoted to God and his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents Chester and Carrie Martin, siblings: Josh and Lee Edward Martin.

Laymond leaves to cherished memories with his loving children: Ron C. Martin (Katy), Tawana Martin (Miller), Demetria Martin (Michael), Carlos Martin and Elzaron Martin all of Campbellton, FL; sisters-in-law: Annie M. Pittman (Nixon) and Johnnie B. Newton; brothers-in-law: Jessie Gene Newton, Dariel Newton and James C. Baker; twelve grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
