Diana Louise Evans
Diana Louise Evans
Diana Louise Evans, 77, of Graceville, Florida, went home to be with the Lord, Sunday, March 1, 2026, at Southeast Health in
Dothan, Alabama, surrounded by her loving family. She was born December 10, 1948, inLakeland, Florida, to the late John
Curtiss Bryant and Alberta Bagley Bryant. She enjoyed watching her westerns and game shows, especially Wheel of
Fortune. She’d yell the answer at the TV, before the contestants even had a chance, and laugh when she got it right. When
she wasn’t doing that, she was outside watering her many plants and watching her bird feeders. She enjoyed cooking,
teaching you how to “do it the right way”, and made the best biscuits and gravy ever. She loved dancing too. She danced
like a young lady insisting she had the best moves, but only if the right song was on. She said “oh well” more than any
person I’ve ever met and tended to have a positive outlook on most things. She’d always try to make you laugh on a hard day but be the first to whoop you if you were being disrespectful. She was loving and caring. God gained a beautiful angel, and she
will be missed by many. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by three sons, Kurt Evans; twins Tracey Evans and Stacey Evans; one sister, Marie Annette Stepp; one brother J.C. Bryant; two grandsons, Kaleb Evans and Josh Evans. Diana is
survived by two daughters, Betty Evans Harris and Deanna Lynn Evans; three sons, Preston Wade Evans, Fred David Evans, and Ronald Jay Evans (Krystal); one sister, Grace Roberson; one brother, Earnest Bagley; nine grandchildren; nine great-
grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and many friends. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. (CST), Thursday, March 5, 2026, in the chapel of James and Lipford Funeral Home, 5390 Cotton Street, Graceville, Florida
32440. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in the Beulah Church Cemetery with James & Lipford Funeral Home directing.
