Ellaree Jackson age 79 of Dothan, AL and formerly of Malone, FL Snow Hill Community, passed away Friday February 20th 2026 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.

Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Saturday February 28th at the Shira Sr. & Chelcie McKinnie Memorial Chapel located 5304 Bowden Hill Road Campbellton, FL with Minister Katina Oliver Officiating. Interment will follow in the Snowhill Cemetery located 5695 Snow Hill Road Malone, FL with McKinnie Funeral Home of Campbellton, FL directing.

A public viewing will be held from 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday February 28th at the Shira Sr. & Chelcie McKinnie Memorial Chapel.

Ella Ree Jackson, a beloved sister, and friend, peacefully transitioned from this life on Friday on, February 20, 2026, in Dothan, AL at the age of 79.  Her life was a beautiful reflection of love, faith, strength, and devotion to family.

Ella Ree Jackson was born in Malone, Florida to the late Sam Jackson and the late Armanda Ola Jackson Williams on January 20, 1947.  She was a devoted daughter, whose guidance, nurturing spirit, and unconditional love will be cherished always.

Ella Ree Jackson was united in marriage to the late Ben Lee, with whom she shared many meaningful years grounded in love and commitment.

She was a woman of faith who believed in the Lord and lived a life rooted in kindness, compassion, and quiet strength.  Her faith carried her through life’s challenges and was a guiding light for her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband: Ben Lee; siblings: Matthew Jackson and Kertra Jenkins; brothers-in-law: Cliff Goins and Billy McBride. 

She leaves to cherish her memory, her loving siblings: Robert Jackson, Sr., Stanley Jackson (Betty), Henry Jenkins (Kertra), Patricia McBride, Vera Carthon (Bobby), Mary Goines, and Gayle Jones Cain.

To all her nieces and nephews, know that she loved you deeply and always wished the very best for each of you.  May you carry her kindness, strength, and love with you throughout your lives.  Her legacy of love and faith will live on in all who knew her.
