The family of Mrs. Linda Copeland Smith, age 77, of Marianna, Florida, announces with great sadness, her passing on December 28th.

She was of the Baptist faith and a member of Greater Buckhorn Missionary Baptist Church where she served faithfully until her health failed.

She is survived by her loving children, Andrez “Deedi” Jones-Lang of Atlanta, Georgia, and Kerwin Reynard Jones (Dr. Laurita) of Tallahassee, Florida; her devoted mother, Mrs. Vivian Darby of Marianna, Florida; her sister, Gina Highsmith of Marianna, Florida; her brother, James “Man” Darby Jr. of Marianna, Florida; six grandchildren; godchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Viewing will be held on Friday, January 2, from 3:00 until 6:00 p.m. at Peoples Funeral Home in Marianna.  A homegoing celebration will be held on Saturday at 12:00 noon at Buckhorn Missionary Baptist Church in Marianna, Florida.
