James Elbert White

James was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, son, and brother. He shared 49 loving years of marriage with his wife, Vicky White. Their partnership was built on commitment, faithfulness, and deep love. His family was the center of his life and his greatest accomplishment.

He was a loving, honest and hardworking man, known for being dependable, selfless, and always willing to lend a helping hand. If something needed a fixing, building, or tending, James was there without hesitation. His quiet strength and steady presence provided comfort and security to those around him.

James loved spending time outdoors, hunting, fishing and gardening. These things brought him peace and joy. He especially enjoyed sharing his harvests with friends and family. The simple time spent with loved ones meant the most to him.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Vicky White; his son, Dennis White, and daughter-in-law, Carrie White; his grandchildren, Emma and Parker White of Pensacola; son, James White of Altha; brother, Larry White and his wife, Judy of Port St. Lucie; sister, Diane and her husband, Floyd Kirkland of Palm City; numerous beloved aunts, uncles, in-laws, cousins, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandparents and parents Raymond and Shirley White, and second son, Raymond White.

James leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, hard work, and devotion. Though he will be deeply missed, the values he instilled and the love he gave will continue to live on in his family for generations to come.

A celebration of life service will be announced at a future date. Arrangements are entrusted to the Lambe Family at Marianna Chapel Funeral Home. Condolences may be made online at www.mariannachapelfh.com
