With heartfelt sadness, we announce the passing of Cassandra Jessica Faust-Johnson, who departed this life on October 2, 2025, in Wilmington, Delaware.
A devoted wife, mother, and friend, Cassandra was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Gilbert J. Johnson.
She was the proud and devoted mother of six sons: Harvey Napoleon III, Bernard Monsonto Sr., Bondelli Desmond Sr., Darwin Paoxton Sr., Marcus De’Wayne, and Shawn Anthony. She also opened her heart as a mother to Ashley Sh’nai Herbert Johnson, whom she lovingly raised as her daughter.
A longtime resident of Delaware, Cassandra also spent many years in Marianna, Florida, where she formed cherished friendships and lasting connections that continued throughout her life.
A viewing will be held on Sunday, October 12, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Congo Legacy Center, 501 W. 28th Street, Wilmington, DE. A Celebration of Life service will follow at 2:00 PM.
