Aundrea Nancy Sellars

Aundrea Nancy Sellars, age 81, was born on April 1, 1945 and passed away on July 25, 2026.

Aundrea started her teaching career in Jackson County before moving to Ocala, FL. She later returned to Jackson County and retired after over 40 years of dedicated teaching. She had a love for children and taught kindergarten for most of her career. 

Aundrea was also very dedicated to the First Baptist Church and her church family. She really enjoyed working the entire year on Operation Christmas Child boxes to be distributed here and in foreign countries. Aundrea taught Awana for many years and was on the mission committee. 

Because of her love for children, she also worked with Guardian Adliten and worked with children from the foster program all the way to adoption and she was also involved with the Altrusa Club. 

She and her high school graduation class meet once a month for dinner to visit and keep up with each other’s lives. For many years she maintained the bulletin boards at the Marianna Post Office.

 She was preceded in death by her parents, Julian and Nancy Spruce.

Aundrea is survived by her siblings, Carol Spruce, Jay Spruce and wife, Dorothy, George Spruce and partner, Betty; niece, Jennifer Spruce; nephew, Michael Spruce and wife, Melissa and their children, Taylor, Lindsey, Emma and Andrew. 

Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M., Friday, July 31, 2026 at the First Baptist Church of Marianna with Pastors Vince Smith and Michael Petty officiating. Interment will follow in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens. 

The family will receive friends for a time of visitation from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service at the First Baptist Church of Marianna.  

Services are entrusted to the Lambe Family at Marianna Chapel Funeral Home.
