Wanda Faye Goldsmith-McKinnie
Wanda Faye Goldsmith-McKinnie age 58 of Campbellton, FL passed away peacefully on July 15, 2026, at her daughter’s residence in Hartford, AL, after a courageous three-year battle with cancer. She was surrounded by her two devoted daughters, whose love and presence brought her comfort in her final moments.
Graveside funeral service was held 10 a.m. Monday July 27, 2026 at St. Paul – New Bethel Cemetery located 5180 Hwy 273 Campbellton, FL with Rev. David Britt officiating and with McKinnie Funeral of Campbellton, FL directing.
Wanda was born on May 13, 1968, in Laurel Hill, FL to the late Houston and Juanita Goldsmith.
At an early age, Wanda accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior and was a faithful member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Laurel Hill, Florida, a church established by her grandfather. Her faith was the foundation of her life. She faithfully served the Lord each day and was known as a devoted prayer warrior who continually lifted up her family, friends, and anyone in need.
Wanda's greatest joy was her family. She was a loving and dedicated mother who devoted her life to raising her four children with unwavering love, strength, and compassion.
She married the love of her life, Randolph L. McKinnie, Sr., on October 26, 2011, and together they made their home in Campbellton, Florida.
Wanda was blessed with extraordinary culinary talents and found great happiness in preparing meals that brought her family together. Her warm spirit, generous heart, and loving nature touched everyone who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband: Randolph L. McKinnie, Sr., parents: the late Houston and Juanita Goldsmith, brothers: Wonderful Toles and Jimmy Goldsmith.
She leaves to cherish her precious memory her son: Willie Goldsmith (Valerie Perkins) of Laurel Hill, FL, daughters: Sharday Burden (Leviticus) of Dothan, AL, Sheneka Harrison (Joel Walker) of Hartford, AL and Brianna Goldsmith (Devonte Parrish) of Dothan, AL, stepsons: Randy McKinnie (Shanta) of Campbellton, FL and Randolph L. McKinnie, Jr. of Baltimore, MD; grandchildren: Kariha, Octavious, Sarai, Fonta, Emoryonna, Emory, Serenity, Tyreke, Kelis, Laila, Tyrihanna, Da'Niyah, Teanna, Trey, Tearra, Daj'Drion, Ava, Azariah, and Avianna; great-grandson: Zy'aire; three brothers: Robert Toles (Connee Watson) of Crestview, FL, Richard Toles of Laurel Hill, FL, and Willie Toles, Jr. of Lockhart, AL; two sisters: Pamela Womack of Laurel Hill, FL and Diane Goldsmith (Willie Bradberry) of Laurel Hill, FL and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members, dear friends, and two special friends: Renee Patterson and Charlotte Pittman.
