Mary Elizabeth Duff

Mary Elizabeth Duff

Mary Elizabeth Duff, 76 of Panama City, went home to be with the Lord on October 4, 2025

surrounded by her loving family.

Mary was born on September 20, 1949 in Chipley, Florida to the late Hershel and Cora Lee

(Elliot) Monk. She was a lifelong resident of the Florida Panhandle and had been a resident of

Bay County since 1975.

She found joy in the nurturing of all things, from the flowers she grew to the lives she touched.

She could coax anything to grow. She cared for family members when they needed her and

enjoyed the satisfaction of doing for others.

She also loved to read, fish and spent many hours doing both. Yet, her greatest moments were

the moments spent with family. She was a loving mother and wife and will be missed dearly.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings: Mac Monk, Jack Monk,

Bud Monk, Lounette Blackwell, Shirley Mellen, Mae Rogers, Betty Jean Redmon.

Mary is survived by her loving husband, Roger Dale Duff Sr. of Panama City, Florida;

daughters: Paula Wilson of Chipley, Florida, Lori Carnley and husband Keith of Ebro, Florida,

Abbey Duff of Panama City, Florida, Joyel Duff of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida; son: Roger Dale

Duff Jr. and wife Christina of Hawesville, Kentucky; sisters: Louvern Spence of Chipley,

Florida, Berna Lou Palmer of Wausau, Florida, Celeste “Teenie” Walsingham and husband Don

of Chipley, Florida; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and loved

ones.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Thursday, October 9, 2025 at Brown Funeral Home
