Donnie J. Jones, age 68, passed away Monday, June 22, 2026, at his residence. He was born in Donalsonville, Ga on September 13, 1957, to Jeff and Mary Jones. He was raised in Malone, FL. Donnie graduated from Malone High School in 1976, and later married the love of his life, Judy, on January 30, 2004.

He spent his adult life working in construction. Donnie spent many years working at Lehigh Furniture until its closure, where he was affectionately known as "Tonto". He also spent several years working at Lipford's Flower Shop assisting his sister, Janie.

Donnie was an avid outdoorsman enjoying hunting and fishing. He also had a love of music and could often be heard playing his guitar and singing.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jeff, and his mother, Mary, as well as his brother-in-law, Jimmy Lipford and sister-in-law, Mary Jones, and his stepson, Chuck Melnik.

Donnie is survived by his wife, Judy; two sons, Brandon Biles (Sara) and Austin Ziemba both of Malone, and stepdaughter, Renee Melnik of Marianna, his brother, Roy Jones of Malone, and sister, Janie Lipford of Sneads; grandchildren, Elijah Biles, Noel Johnson, Alexandria Turner, and Caleb Coleman; six great-grandchildren. He is also survived by nieces, Tina Parnell, Jena Lipford, and Leisha Jones; and two bonus boys, Matthew Biles and David Biles, along with several aunts and cousins.

A viewing and receiving of friends will take place, Thursday, June 25, 2026, from 2- 3 PM, at James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel.
