James “Allen” Culbreth

James “Allen” Culbreth, 67 of the Poplar Springs Community, Graceville, Florida, passed away, Saturday, August 22, 2026. Allen was born September 6, 1958, to the late James “Jimmy” Alvin Culbreth and Patricia Ann Hammack Culbreth.

A 1976 graduate of Poplar Springs High School, Allen worked as a truck driver for several years and then farmed before his retirement.

Preceded in death by his father and one brother Larry.

Allen is survived by his mother Patricia Ann “Patsy” Culbreth, one son Dustin Culbreth, two daughters Nichole Ussery (James), Meranda Bottoms (John), seven grandchildren Dillon, Devin, Trevor, Caleigh, Braxton, Chloe, Emma, three great grandchildren Walker, Wren, Ryder, one brother Dennis Culbreth (Teresa), one sister Ginger Williams (Quint), several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be 11 a.m., Thursday, August 27, 2026, at Bethel Baptist Church with Rev. Edwin Bell officiating. Burial will follow in church cemetery with James & Lipford Funeral Home in Graceville directing. Family will receive friends at the church Thursday, 10 a.m. until time of the service.
