James Aaron Jolley
James Aaron Jolley, born on September 7, 1941, in Wayne County, Georgia, and passed away on August 22, 2026, in Marianna, Florida.
James made his home in Marianna for 53 years, having come from Boca Raton, Florida. A man of Baptist faith, James attended New Salem Baptist Church, where his beliefs were an important part of his daily life. His church community was a meaningful source of fellowship and encouragement, and his faith remained a steady foundation through every season of life. James’ life was a blessing to those around him, and his memory will continue to be honored.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Florence Jolley; brothers, Ellis Jolley and Y.L. Jolley.
James is survived by his loving wife, Janas Jolley of Marianna, FL; daughters, Nadine Martinez of Moriarty, NM, Lori Jolley of Rock Hill, SC, Cori Hall and husband, Josh of Marianna, FL; brothers, Emory Jolley and wife, Pat of Elkton, MD, Chris Jolley and wife, Connie of Smithville, TN; sisters, Gladys Hough of Altoona, FL, Joan Smith of Umatilla, FL, Mary White and husband, Joe of Tallahassee, FL as well as twenty one grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
A private celebration of life will be at a later date with Marianna Chapel Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
