Larry Ray Mansfield
Larry Ray Mansfield, age 71, of Jacksonville, Florida, passed away on August 16, 2026, at Southeast Health Medical Center.
Larry will be remembered as a devoted father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. His life was centered around the people he loved, and the family he leaves behind is a reflection of the many lives he touched throughout his 71 years. Those who knew Larry will remember his strength, his personality, and the love he carried for his family.
Throughout his life, Larry experienced both good times and difficult times, but one thing was for sure; he stayed steadfast with determination and resilience. More than anything, his greatest legacy can be found in his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, friends that he influenced, and the future generations of Mansfield’s that will carry his memory forward. His presence will be deeply missed, but the stories, laughter, and moments he shared with us will remain through those who loved him.
Larry was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Patricia (Patti) Mansfield; son, Shane Hill; parents, Betty Lou Mansfield and Ray “Pete” Lewis; his brothers, Terry Mansfield and Gary Mansfield.
Larry is survived by his remaining family his sister, Brenda “Bennie” Sue Mansfield, his sister, Mickey Greer and his children, Larry Mansfield II; Shonda Mansfield; Miranda Mansfield and husband, Bridger; Marshall Mansfield and wife, Jullianna Mansfield; Donavan Mansfield; Chris Hill; Candace Dos Santos and husband, Gladston; and Brittany Hill, and his honorary bonus sons Joshua Whitely & Benjamin Trenkler; his grandchildren, Cameron Smith, Cydney Mansfield, Raylyn Davis, Paul Dean (PJ) Nyberg Jr., Marshall Raymond Mansfield II, Juliuz Caban Mansfield, Jace Bridger Ragland, Madison Taylor Mansfield, Marianna Rose Mansfield, Hallie, Shane II, Mason and Tatum Hill, Milo Sutton, Irelynn Dos Santos, Ilyanna Dos Santos, and Triton Mansfield (expected November 21, 2026); his great-grandchildren, Shane Hill III and Weston Hill; his niece, Donna Mansfield; and his nephew, Gary Mansfield; along with many other relatives and friends who will cherish his memory.
The family will receive friends for viewing and visitation at 1:00 P.M. followed by funeral services at 2:00 P.M. on Sunday, August 23, 2026 at Marianna Chapel Funeral Home with Chaplain Gino Mayo officiating. Military honors will be rendered by the United States Marine’s Honor Guard.
A private interment will take place at Santa Fe Cemetery in Hampton, Florida with Marianna Chapel Funeral Home directing. Larry will be laid to rest with his wife, Patricia Mansfield.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Marianna Chapel Funeral Home to assist the family with funeral expenses.
