Michael John Hagan, age 39, passed away unexpectedly at his residence on Saturday, May 9, 2026. Michael (also referred to as Monroe, Mike, Big Mike, and Fluffy, but Dad was his favorite thing to be called) was born on June 17, 1986 in Marianna, FL. He was lovingly raised by his Aunt Ruth and Henry Bizaillion who loved and taught him to be the amazing person that he was. He attended Sneads High School and Chipola College. He loved his job at Roberts & Roberts, Inc where he was a mechanic. Michael was known by family and friends to fix anything that was broken no matter what it was and did so with a happy heart. He was a proud member of the Harmony Masonic Lodge No. 3.
Michael enjoyed joking around, traveling to anywhere, playing music as he was very talented with many instruments, and he loved his sweet tea. Above all else, he loved spending time with his family and was extremely proud of his children. Michael was the rock for his family and most friends, solid and unbreakable for those that needed him and even when they didn't. He was always there to lighten the load or unburden any trouble usually through a joke, a poke, or a big bear hug.
Michael was preceded in death by his grandparents, Marcus and Verna Hagan; his aunt, Ruth Swanson; father-in-law, Roy Mayo; and special friends, Ben Cobb and Danny Danford. He is survived by his beloved wife, Heather; his children, Destiny, Calleigh, and Brooklynn Hagan, and Ashlynn, Avaree, and Houston Connell; his father, John Hagan and wife, Suzanne; sister, Heather Renee Hagan; father figure, Henry Bizaillion, and many other extended family.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Monday, May 18, 2026 at Marianna Chapel Funeral Home with Pastor Bill Mayo officiating. A private Interment will follow.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Marianna Chapel Funeral Home.
