Mrs. Eva Ruth White, age 78, of Panama City, Florida formerly of Graceville, Florida went home to be with the Lord on March 9, 2026.

Mrs. Eva Ruth White, born to the late Mr. L.A Hightower and Mrs. R. Bell Curry on April 28, 1947, in Marianna, Florida.

She attended school at St. Paul in Campbellton, Florida. In the early 70s she moved from Graceville Florida to Panama City Florida where she pursued a career in housekeeping for over 50 years. In her youth she served as a member of Holy Neck Missionary Baptist Church of Marianna Florida, in her later years she joined The New Zion Temple in Graceville Florida where she served on the Usher Board. During her declining health she was granted membership back to her home church of Holy Neck.

Sister Eva White leaves to cherish her memory husband, Garcia Miller of Panama City, Florida: sons, Nathan White of Birmingham, Alabama, and  Willie (Alesha) White of Copperas Cove, Texas: daughter, Tina White of Panama City, Florida; 12 grandchildren and great grandchildren. She leaves behind her mother R. Bell Curry of Graceville Florida. She also leaves behind four sisters: Eva Lois (Ralph) Plummer of Panama City, Florida, Henrietta King of DeFuniak Springs, Florida Lillie Curry of Graceville, Florida, and Carolyn (James) Taylor of Bogalusa, Louisiana; She leaves four brothers: Charles (Myrna) Curry of Campbellton, Florida, Abraham (Francis) Curry of Detroit, Michigan, Charles Keys of Marianna, Florida, and David Curry of Graceville, Florida. She also leaves behind mother-in-law, Dorret Atkins of Panama City, Florida; close friends Jim (Faye) Dever, Mitch (Sarah) Dever of Panama City Beach, Florida. She also leaves behind a host of nieces and nephews as well as other relatives and friends.

Public visitation will be held 4-6 PM, Friday, March 20, 2026, in the M. Sue & Rodney D. Pittman Memorial Chapel, 5441 Cooper Street, Graceville, Florida.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, 11 AM, March 21, 2026, at Holy Neck Missionary Baptist Church in Marianna, Florida with the Reverend Richard Peterson, pastor/officiant.

She will be laid to rest in the church cemetery under the directions of Christian Memorial Chapel of Graceville, Florida.
