Mrs. Sharon Riley Miles

Mrs. Sharon Riley Miles, age 76, of Graceville, Florida, went to be with her Lord and Savior on May 9, 2026, at her home surrounded by her family just ten days after her beloved husband, J.R. She was born June 29, 1949, in Crestview, Florida to Louis and Marguerite Smith Riley.

Sharon was a 1967 graduate of Milton High School.  She was married to the love of her life, J.R. Miles, for over 57 years. Affectionately known as “Mamasharon” and him as Papa J.R.  together they raised a beautiful family that was the centerpiece of their world.  She retired from West Florida Electric Cooperative.

Sharon is survived by two sons Seab and Shane Miles (Dana), three grandchildren Alyssa Williams (David), Zak Miles (Miranda), and Seth Miles (Kaylan), four great-grandchildren Landon Miles, Athan Miller, Tatum Miller, Tristan Miles and Daxon Miles, two sisters Jenny Plant (Mike) and Stella Davis, as well as several nieces and nephews, cousins, and a great host of friends. 

A Celebration of Her Life will be 11:00 a.m. (CDT), Wednesday, May 13, 2026, at New Hope Assembly of God Church, 1314 Bunker Road, Graceville, Florida, 32440, with Rev. Jonathan Fussell, Rev. Seth Miles, and Rev. Tommy Moore officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until time for the service. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with James & Lipford Funeral Home Directing.
