Mollie Mae Davis Hardrick was a long time resident of Madrid, AL. She gained her wings on Monday October 27, 2025. She was born February 10, 1953 to the late Joseph “Sunman” Davis and the late Maggie Lee Riley Davis in Fountain, FL. Mollie was “Special”, she was the last survivor of 9 children “The Last of the Mohicans”.
She accepted Chris at an early age at St. Philliph A. M. E. Church. She was a graduate of Rehobeth High School Class of 1971. She worked at Slocomb Apparel for many years before the shutdown. After the shutdown she worked at Teledune and Brown both in Slocomb, AL until 1995.
She was a very vocal person. She would tell you what she wanted and how she wanted it. Then she would apologize the next day. She was a loveable person with a heart of gold and would give you her last and you would have never known it was her last. She helped raise the majority of her nieces and nephews and they all called her Aunt Butterfly.
She had what we call a green thumb. She could grow almost anything, and she loved working in her yard. She will truly be missed.
