Ronald Reese Deese, age 74, of Cottondale, FL passed away on Saturday, November 29, 2025 at Southeast Health in Dothan, AL.

Ronald was the child of the late Frances and J.W. Deese. Ronald was employed with the Florida State Hospital and worked as a UTRSS2 until retirement. Ronald was an avid tractor collector and utilized some of those tractors on his farm. He married the love of his life, Sarah Deese in 1971 at the family farm. Ronald attended Faith Community South Church and served as a Deacon as well as on the board for numerous years. Ronald loved his family, kids, babies and tractors dearly. 

He was preceded in death by his parents. 

Ronald is survived by his loving wife, Sarah Jane Deese of Cottondale, FL; son, Duane Deese (Brandy) of Cottondale, FL; brother, Jerrold Deese (Nancy) of Cottondale, FL as well as his grandchildren, Blayne Deese, Sylestina Perry (Zachary).

Funeral services will be 10 A.M., Wednesday, December 3, 2025 at Marianna Chapel Funeral Home with Pastors John Vennell and Derek Powell officiating. Interment will take place following the service at Cottondale Assembly of God Church Cemetery with Marianna Chapel Funeral Home directing. 

The family will receive friends for a time of fellowship from 9 A.M., until the time of service at Marianna Chapel Funeral Home.
