Mrs. Resee’ LaToria McKinnie Ward, age 34, of Graceville, Florida went home to be with the Lord on Friday, February 6, 2026 at her home.

Resee' LaToria McKinnie Ward, known affectionately by all as Resee', made her grand entrance into the world on August 11, 1991, in Marianna, Florida, and after a life that was nothing short of a joyous and laughter-filled adventure. Resee' was the kind of person who could light up a room with her smile and fill it with laughter with her quick wit and boundless charm.

Born to Queen Session and Gjerith McKinnie, Sr., Resee' was the spark plug in a family that included her loving husband, Willie Ward, her pride and joy children Destiny Sintron, DeQuarian Ward, and DeWayne Ward, and her adorable grandchild Delaney Brown. She was also the apple of her grandmothers Mabelle Pittman Cook's and Mariah Pelt eyes and the sister who could always be counted on for a good joke or a listening ear to Gjerith McKinnie, Jr., Demetrius McKinnie, Nina Malena, and Pamela McKinnie; aunts and uncle: Teresa Session, Kenneth Pelt and Tangela Pelt; a host of nieces and nephews; Her family was her world, and she was their shining star.

Resee' was a passionate soul, with a love for Bingo that bordered on the legendary. She'd say, "Bingo isn't just a game; it's a way of life," and she lived every moment with the same enthusiasm she brought to the game during her employment. Her laughter was infectious, her spirit indomitable, and her ability to make friends was unparalleled. She was the epitome of loving and friendly, and if you knew her, you loved her. It was as simple as that

Her life was a tapestry of hilarious anecdotes and heartwarming tales. She had a knack for turning the mundane into the extraordinary, and her presence was a gift to all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Resee' never missed an opportunity to crack a joke, often saying, "If life gives you lemons, make lemonade—and then find someone whose life has given them vodka and have a party.

Resee' leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter. Her memory will be cherished by her numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and a host of friends who were all touched by her vibrant spirit. She was a beacon of joy in the lives of many, and her stories will be told with smiles and laughter for years to come.

Public visitation will be Friday, February 20, 2026, 4-6 PM, in the M. Sue & Rodney D. Pittman Memorial Chapel, 5441 Cooper Street, Graceville, Florida

A service of love will begin at 11 AM, Saturday, February 21, 2026, at the St. Paul AME Church in Campbellton, Florida.

She will be laid to rest in the church cemetery under the directions of Christian Memorial Chapel of Graceville, Florida.
