Sir Zarius Darnell Flood, age 22, of Caryville, Florida, departed this life on Saturday morning, January 24, 2026, as a result of an automobile accident.

He was a member of the Spirit-Filled Church of God in Christ in Caryville, Florida, and attended Vernon High School in Vernon, Florida

Those left to cherish his memories include his parents: Dominique Franchesca Works and Sir D. Flood I; his siblings, Noel Sabastian Works, Aiden Walker, Rusty Wright and Kimberley Works; his maternal grandmother, Cheryl D. Peterson, and maternal great-grandfather, Ransom Works; aunts and uncles: Ollie M. Stuckey, Clementine Howard (Elder Tony Howard), Almeanus A. Chambers, Cleveland Works, Darryl Works, Zachary Flood (Cindy, and Johnny Flood; a very special friend, Kaydra Riley; numerous great aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

A service of love will begin at 11:00 AM, Saturday, February 7, 2026, at Spirit Filled Church of God in Christ, 2128 Pate Pond Road in Caryville, Florida with Elder Tony Howard officiating.

He will be laid to rest in the Spirit-Filled Church Cemetery in Caryville, Florida under the directions of Christian Memorial Chapel of Graceville, Florida.
