Earnest Justice, Jr. affectionately known as Peanut age 81of Campbellton, FL Stateline Community, passed away Wednesday March 4, 2026 at Graceville Health Center in Graceville, FL surrounded by his loving family.

Funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Saturday March 14th 2026 at the True Word of God Ministries located at 937 White Avenue Graceville, FL with the Church Pastor, Apostle Teretha Reverend Olds officiating. Interment will follow in St. John Cemetery located at 2199 AME Road Campbellton, FL, with McKinnie Funeral Home of Campbellton, FL. directing.

Visitation will be held 4 - 6 p.m. Friday March 13th at the Shira Sr. and Chelcie McKinnie Memorial Chapel.

Earnest Justice, Jr. “Peanut” was born in Houston County Alabama on May 13, 1944 to the late Bruce Justice and the late Mary Ann Key Justice.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his children: Earnest Newby of Dothan, AL, Earnest Carter of Tampa, FL, Elaine Justice Roman, Mikala Carter and Candice Carter all of Tampa, FL; grand-children: Cyana, Riyana, Olivia, Neyah, Antonia, Antoine, Aria, Emani, Emari, Lailah, Maliyah, Elijah, Brooklyn, Brielle, Destin and Desmond all of Tampa, FL; one sister: Apostle Teretha Olds (Walter) of Graceville, FL; nieces and nephews: Shankrystal (James), Karisa (Mel), Orian (Ciara), Eric (Sherefiah), DaSuan (Shaquel), Gabrial (Selena), Galen and Jael; special cousins: Alvin, Gloria, Jo and Willa Dean; god-sister: Juanita Davis of Detroit, MI; god-brother: Jimmy Brown (Jackie).
