Charles Wayne Roberts, 75, of Sneads, Florida, died Friday, June 6, 2025, at his residence.

He was born May 15, 1950, to Charles L. and Mary F. Roberts. During high school, he started working for McDaniels Grocery. He graduated as Valedictorian of Sneads High School class of 1969. He was a supervisor at Florida State Hospital for 47 years. On February 6, 1981, he married the love of his life, Levine, and spent the next 44 years caring and providing for her and their family. He loved watching old westerns and enjoyed fishing. Wayne loved music, especially 60’s classics; his extensive CD collection was rivaled by few.

Above all, he was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. His pride and joy was his family. He loved nothing more than having them under his roof or around the same table. His mellow and tender personality will be missed by all who knew him.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Jackie D. Roberts.

He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Levine Worrell Roberts; son Charles Raymond Roberts (Shelia), Michael Wayne Roberts, Amanda Mariah Roberts; grandchildren, and Amanda Lee, Mckenzie Trim; great-grandchildren, Annslei Snipes, Braxton Lee, Aiden Lee; brother, Andy Roberts; and brother-in-law, Raymond Eugene Worrell.

Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing.
