William Richard Berry

William Richard Berry, 59, passed away September 12, 2025. He was born on July 7, 1966, in Putnam County to Charles Raymond Berry and Jannie Louise Brown. He died Friday, September 12, 2025, at his residence. He built his life in Grand Ridge, where he worked for Ducky Johnson house movers for 25 years as a shop foreman. He was a hard worker with many talents. He loved being outdoors, cooking, and racing. His favorite place was Blondies. He had lifelong friends who he loved dearly.

Special friends he had were his best friend, Glen Harrell and wife, Tammy, along with the Harrell family. Richard was also close with the Johnson family, including Charlie and his wife, Nichole.

He is preceded in death by his mother and father, Jannie Brown and Charles Berry.

Richard is survived by his daughters, Karrie Bailey (Trent), Christina Berry (fiancé, Mark Bell); grandchildren, Rhett, Little Ricky, Blain, Caylee, Ayden, Tinslee, and Raja; many other loving family members.

Funeral service will be 11 AM, Tuesday, September 16, 2025, at James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel with Rev. Kelvin Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in Johnson Family Cemetery in Grand Ridge, Florida.

Visitation will take place an hour prior to the service at James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel.
