The Jackson County Master Gardener Volunteers will be having a fall and winter gardening workshop from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm at the Jackson County Extension Office located at 2741 Penn Avenue in Marianna. Participants will learn about the vegetables that grow best during the Florida Panhandle’s cooler months. There will be educational handouts and seeds to take home as well as a hands-on demonstration of building a raised gardening bed at home. Admission is $10 per person and preregistration is required.
