Jackson County Supervisor of Elections, Carol Dunaway, educates students on election process

Marianna, Fla.- Supervisor of Elections, Carol Dunaway, went back to school this week to speak to Mr Gable’s and Mr Graham’s government classes at Marianna High School.

Students heard from Mrs. Dunaway about voter registration, participated in a mock election using real ballots and machines, and learned about the roles of Jackson County’s constitutional officers. A total of 101 students registered or preregistered to vote! One student added “It made me excited to vote and have an impact on the election.”

Great job students, and thank you to Carol Dunaway for all you do to promote the election process and civic engagement.
