Christine Rhynes age 93 of Campbellton, FL passed away Saturday July 25, 2026 at Washington Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Chipley, FL surrounded by her loving family.

Graveside funeral services were held 10 a.m. Saturday August 1, 2026 at St. Paul/New Bethel Cemetery located 5180 Hwy 273 Campbellton, FL with Minister Douglas Cotton Officiating and McKinnie Funeral of Campbellton, FL directing.

Christine Young Rhynes was born on July 24, 1933, in Campbellton, FL. She departed this life on July 25, 2026.

She was a fun-loving, caring and compassionate woman whose warm spirit touched everyone she met. Throughout her life, she worked in healthcare and manufacturing. She was known for her dedication, strong work ethic and willingness to help others.

Christine enjoyed spending time with family and friends sharing laughter and creating lasting memories. Her kindness, strength and unconditional love will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her husband: Cleve Rhynes; mother: Pecola White; father: Jack Young; two sons: Douglas Rhynes and Edward Rhynes; and grandson: Robbou Rhynes.

She leaves to cherish her memories, her devoted son: Cleve Rhynes, Jr.; sister-in-law: Lois Hoover and host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends who will continue to honor her legacy through the love she shared.
