Mr. Lee Travis Florence age 44, of Marianna, Florida went home to be with the Lord on Saturday March 21, 2026, at the Gulf Coast Medical Center in Panama City, Florida.
Lee was a 2000 graduate of Marianna High School, where he proudly played basketball and built lifelong friendships. He had a passion for his local church community, family, and sports. Lee was a hardworking man. He was employed with Sunland for 17 years.
At an early age, Lee gave his life to Christ and was baptized on Sunday, April 28, 1991, at St. Luke Missionary Baptist Church, grounding his life in faith and spiritual values. He was active in the youth and young adult ministries and regularly attended Sunday school. Known for his warm spirit and genuine heart, Lee had a way of making people feel valued. Whether through laughter, conversation, or simply his presence, he brought light into every room.
From his first breath to his last smile on Saturday, March 21, 2026, Lee lived a life defined by quiet strength, a reserved spirit, and a heart that gave freely to others. Though he did not seek the spotlight, his kindness spoke volumes.
Lee was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Katrina Florence, whose love and guidance shaped the man he became. Lee leaves to cherish one uncle, Reginald (Gigs) Warren of Augusta, Georgia; best friend, Deon Baker of Marianna, Florida; a host of cousins, relatives, friends, colleagues, and classmates.
Public visitation will be 4-6 PM, Friday, March 27, 2026, at Saint Luke Missionary Baptist Church in Marianna, Florida. A celebration of life will begin at 11 AM, Saturday, March 28, 2026, in the sanctuary of Saint Luke Missionary Baptist Church in Marianna, Florida with the Pastor Travis Ephriam, Sr., officiating.
Interment will follow in the Orange Hill Cemetery in Marianna, Florida under the directions of Christian Memorial Chapel of Graceville, Florida. www.pittmanchristianmemorial.com
