Ronald Vito Palumbo

Ronald Vito Palumbo, 73, of Graceville passed away Friday, July 10, 2026, at his residence following an extended illness.

Ronald was born January 17, 1953, in Westbury, New York to the late Vito Palumbo and Christine Pantages Palumbo. A U.S. Army Veteran, Ronald was a delivery driver for several years. He was affectionately known as "Grandpa" and "Uncle Pookie" to his beloved family.

He is survived by his beloved wife Carla Temples Palumbo, two daughters Jennifer Lynn Slater (Alphonso), Kimberly Marie Palumbo, five grandchildren Kayla, Eric, Nathan, Jacob, Dontae, several great grandchildren, two sisters Diane, Julie, and several nieces and nephews. Also, his special fur babies Sebastian and Max. 

A Celebration of His Life will be 11 a.m., Wednesday at the chapel of James & Lipford Funeral Home, with military honors by the U.S. Army. A private burial will be held at Damascus Baptist Church
