Theodore "Ted" Lee Mobbs

Theodore "Ted" Lee Mobbs, age 81, of Greenwood, FL passed away on Wednesday, May 13, 2026 at his residence.

Ted was born on November 5, 1944 in Morrisville, PA to the late Lottie and John Mobbs. He worked as a welder at Unimac for twelve years and was a valued mechanic at Marianna Toyota for five years. Ted was extremely talented with fixing things, so he established a lawn mower and small engine repair shop at his home. In his free time, Ted enjoyed fishing and riding motorcycles. He was also instrumental in helping establish and serve at the Bascom Volunteer Fire Department.

He was preceded in death by his parents, as well as his son, Ricky Mobbs.

Ted is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Barbara Mobbs; daughter, Heather Allen and husband, Kelly; grandchildren, Morgan Lipford and husband, Adam; great grandchildren, Charlotte and Evelyn Lipford; as well his his best friend, Charles Chambliss.

A celebration of life will be Sunday, June 14, 2026 from 1:00 to 3:00 P.M. at Bascom School in Bascom, FL.
