William “Billy” Hatcher
William “Billy” Hatcher, 98, of Marianna, passed away on May 28, 2026, at home with his loving family by his side.
Billy was born in Marianna and lived there his entire life. He graduated from Marianna High School and was a self-employed plumber. He enjoyed the outdoors, his chickens, piddling in his shop, flowers, and gardening.
He was predeceased by his parents, Charlie and Cleavie Hatcher; sister, Ethelyn Freeman; brother, Rastus Hatcher; and great-grandson, Aaron Lollie.
He is survived by his loving wife of almost 76 years, Edna S. Hatcher; eight children, Danny (Janet) Hatcher of Mexico Beach, David (Jerry) Hatcher of Tallahassee, Richard (Suzane) Hatcher of Sneads, Kimberly (Ricky) Lollie of Marianna, Chris (Debra) Hatcher of Marianna, Alicia (David) Johnson of Grand Ridge, Sherry (Shawn) Wood of Chattahoochee, and Holly (Brad) Stafford of Tallahassee; 56 grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 10 AM Tuesday, June 2, 2026, at New Beginnings Worship Center in Grand Ridge. Interment will follow at New Hope Cemetery in Marianna with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing.
